#15 (week 6) On Library 2.0 & Web 2.0 and Future of Libraries

Have a read on the articles :Into a new world of librarianship and Away from Icebergs, found lots of great ideas about the future of library service. I kinda like the idea of library 2.0 which means that everybody got to learn something about IT and computer. I have seen using a lot of technologies related things in the library like bebo and facebook, and also other things like digital library and online renewal system. That's been a good promotion about the use of online catalogue now that people can use WAP services on their mobile phones to find books. So that's been so great. I think the library has done great work in promoting IT in the society...
